Writing Club

Writing Club with Jacki Carr is a portal for expression and creativity. This is a writer’s club not just for writers, it is curated for all of us seeking a space to express, explore, get curious and put pen to a page on purpose. Some times we need a guide to get going and other times we need accountability in our calendar to show up and get curious.

Join us and find your words, your stories, your creativity.

We meet every Tuesday at 9am MST, you are invited to write with a group of other creatives on ZOOM.

In 2026, we’ll journey deep into the tendrils of mythology, featuring a different goddess each week as our muse and inspiration. We’ll still explore poetry, haiku, jump-off lines, guest speakers, and imagery, with time at the end for open (and entirely optional) sharing. This space will feel like a creative salve, a community of humans seeking, feeling, and shaping words into meaning uniquely their own, kind of liek life.

Dates: Tuesdays (every week)

Time: 9am - 10am MST (PSA: changed the time zone to MST, check your calendars)

Testimonials

  • "I never considered myself a writer - far from it actually. Jacki's writing club has taught me that it's not about being perfect with words; it's about exploring new ideas, expressing yourself in ways you hadn't thought of before, and sharing and learning from others in a safe space. Joining this writing club has turned writing into something I genuinely look forward to and has helped stir up a creative side of me I didn't know I had. If you're at all interested, I say - do it!"

Why Write?

Why Write?

  • “There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.”

    ― Maya Angelou

  • “We write to taste life twice, in the moment and in retrospect.”

    ― Anais Nin

  • “And by the way, everything in life is writable about if you have the outgoing guts to do it, and the imagination to improvise. The worst enemy to creativity is self-doubt.”

    ― Sylvia Plath
