GOAL SHARE: Meet Holly Baier, Teacher by Day, Yogi and Bullet Journal Leader by Night

I say it often and I’ll say it again, everyone needs a Holly Baier in their lives. I met Holly on a goals hike, at a vision board event, in yoga and beyond. I told her I wanted to make her a Goals Hike girls scout-style vest that I could custom create patches for just for her as she led the charge in showing up and being a consistent support system you forget you need. She is sunshine in human form, she taught me how to bullet journal, we have co-led a goals hike together and during the pandemic she came over and taught my kids music and yoga. We all need a Holly, meet her and love her as much as I do.

Hi Y'all! I'm Holly Baier!

I love creating a space for people to create change in their lives through bullet journaling and yoga! I have found the combination of these tools to be a powerful way to allow people to dig deeper into their feelings. Above all I want to see people use these simple movement and journaling tools as an outlet for their GOALS, DREAMS, AND ADVENTURES! I'm always amazed at the takeaway of simply spending a little time to focus on what are the things we want to accomplish through putting pen to paper while meditating and moving one's body as a way to create real change and achieve goals

I love to give people permission to step into play through journaling. There is no right or wrong way to jot down feelings and ideas on paper. When we release the need to "follow the directions" or "get it right" we can let our ideas flow and see ourselves in a deeper way. Bullet Journaling is a system that allows anyone to journal ideas through pictures, words, sentences, stories, and any other design you can think of in a physical journal. Through COVID, I pivoted from in person events at libraries, businesses, yoga studios, schools, and event centers to using online platforms. This opened up the ability to reach people throughout the country. One of my most successful and life changing journal offerings has been helping people create Birthday Bucket Lists. I guide people through my process of creating a specific number (depending on their age) of adventures and experiences so they can have their boldest year yet while collecting memories to last a lifetime!

In 2021 I completed a massive goal of completing my 300 hour yoga teacher training bringing me to a 500 hour yoga teacher. I set off on this goal to bring a sense of structure and learning during another year of COVID. I am energized to bring my enhanced yoga tools to others this year. Helping people land in their bodies through movement has been a huge mission of mine and has brought me great connection with others.

I love teaching workshops for either yoga or bullet journaling but have discovered a wild magic when I combine these two passion projects into one workshop or experience. I have big dreams of what these offerings will look like for 2022!

My vision for creating spaces for others to create change through yoga and bullet journaling:

1. Create spaces for people to gather in community and take part in yoga and journaling experiences as a way to create real change and accomplish goals and cultivate connection

2. To continue to reach individuals from all over the world online and in person through bullet journal coaching

3. Bring my in person workshops back to public libraries, businesses, yoga studios, schools, and event spaces

4. Provide birthday bucket lists and seasonal wellness sessions and workshops for people to refocus and live their most adventurous life.

Nuggets of wisdom I have learned along the way:

I'm ready right now!

Smaller and more intimate numbers at workshops create great change too.

Learning from the experiences is as important as preparation. Don't be afraid to try things and reflect on what landed and what didn't land afterwards as a way to keep evolving.
