I often wrote free form, the kind of sentences that came out right the first time and scared me just enough that I had to get that second, third and fourth opinion.
By the third edit, my voice was gone. My message was watered down. My piece a mish-mash of performative writing and no longer even true.
I know what it costs to have a voice and not trust it.
So I stopped sending my work to all the other people and I started literally pressing publish with the utmost abandon.
And then, someone would comment. And then next week, someone would private message me.
Every time I trusted my voice, even with the run-on sentences and a few grammar errors I would catch later, it was always worth it.
And I keep writing and writing and writing. In a notebook. On the screen. In post it notes. On the back of a receipt recently.
When you trust your voice, she shows up more and more. Your start to think in poetry, wrangle essays and land your message you want to speak on a stage.
She shows up because you did.

What to Expect

Within the 3 week series, you will:

Join LIVE calls on ZOOM to explore, educate and integrate the voice practices.
Explore powerful ways to write, express, speak and share.
Reconnect with your core values and what you truly desire because they might have changed recently, have you checked in?
Join an intimate circle of like-hearted women supporting each other’s journeys. Showing up matters.

Every call is recorded and uploaded into a shared folder on Google Drive.
Access to both book 1, 2 and 3 of my e-book library.

Who is this for?

You've been writing in your notes app and showing no one.
You start and delete. Start and delete.
You have a voice and perhaps, you just don't trust it yet.
You are ready to speak up on the page, on the stage, in any room.

What we move through?

Three weeks. Three live sessions. Each one builds on the last. We start with what's already there and we end with evidence that your voice is real and worth showing up with.
Weekly writing prompts: each prompt is designed to move you through resistance and access creative flow. You will write things that surprise you.
8-10 women means everyone gets real feedback, real attention, real reflection.
You leave with something finished and witnessed by the group. Not a draft. Not a maybe. A piece of you with your name on it.

WEEK 1

Intro Your Voice
I am telling you, your voice is enough.
We start there. Claiming our voice, our style.
You cannot express freely from a voice you've been apologizing for.

Prompt: Write one true thing you've never written before.

WEEK 2

Know Your Voice
Your specific life = your specific lens.
The ordinary details you overlook are exactly what make your voice unique and on purpose.
This week we get ruthlessly specific and watch the writing wake up.

Prompt: Name one small moment no one else noticed but you. Tell the story.

WEEK 3

Trust Your Voice
You write it and you speak it.
You've stepped all the way in. You've found what only you can see.
Now comes the part that builds trust - you write it and speak it.

Prompt: Write the piece you've been avoiding. Share one paragraph with the group.
